On pense à Lévinas dans Ethique et infini : «La peau du visage est celle qui reste la plus nue, la plus dénuée. La plus nue, bien que d’une nudité décente. La plus dénuée aussi : il y a dans le visage une pauvreté essentielle ; la preuve est qu’on essaie de masquer cette pauvreté en se donnant des poses, une contenance.»

A few years ago, I started a photographic work about the feminine in art. After the creation of STABAT MATER, I finished filming MOTHER, a danced ensemble film. It is in that context that I madeMujer, Tierra y Libertad with Myoho.
Between us opened a powerful space where femininity is revealed. Explodes. Myoho tells me my work is like a “developing bath” for women. I feel like a “relay” of their great vital energy.
Through photography and symbol, one inhabits, not only the mind but also the body, the body's memory; working on symbol is liberating, it gives a shape that seems less identifiable a priori but which, in the end, is often the most personal and sincere one.
